The 3R's for Youth: Resilience, Responsibility and Respect

This program is targeted for learners who are new or planning to enter the work environment. It is paramount that learners understand being resilient, responsible, and respectful are essential in any work experience or job position.

Acquiring the 3 R’s skills through training will not only assist learners in successfully gaining employment; but will enhance their skills to achieve long term job retention and career advancement.

Assess your understanding of the 3R's and what they look like in the workplace. This course covers:

  • Resilience in the Workplace

    By the end of this course, you will be better able to understand why Resilience is so important in the workplace, understand the difference between pressure and stress and use strategies to improve your resilience.

  • Responsibility in the Workplace

    By the end of this course, you will be better able to understand why Responsibility is so important in the workplace, demonstrate responsible behaviours at work and practice reacting to specific situations where a level of responsibility is required.

  • Respect in the Workplace

    By the end of this course, you will be better able to define respect and why it's important in the workplace, understand expectations for working with others, show respect in all workplace interactions and apply techniques for dealing with inappropriate workplace behaviours.
